Boston University to honor William Coleman

One of the reasons why I chose BU initially, and why I've loved it all this time, is its dedication to equality. What better new story to evidence my position than this one about William Coleman:

This man has been involved in major reform throughout the past century. The discipline most dear to my heart, education, was incredibly impacted by his work when he served as a legal strategist for the plaintiffs in the 1954 Supreme Court case declaring racial separation in schools unconstitutional.

Not only that, his son, Dr. Hardin Coleman, is my boss at BU and was on my dissertation committee. This, everyone, is a family who walks the walk...
