Monday: I received notice of passing a comprehensive exam required prior to proposing my dissertation.
Tuesday: I received a multi-hundred dollar grant to pay for a conference.
Wednesday: I received notice of passing another comprehensive exam required prior to proposing my dissertation.
Thursday: a student brought a loaded 9mm into the school where I work. I was there during the time. Here is the link: http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2008/11/man_in_custody.html
Friday: I watched Old School twice.
Saturday: I finished all assignments for the rest of the semester save my dissertation proposal.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring...

Or...I could continue developing and implementing positive youth development programs for underserved youth to promote prosocial attitudes, behaviors and knowledge in hopes of preventing future crime!
