That is how I felt on Sunday night. Completely wiped out. I had a long work week...followed by a hard play weekend. After our romantic Friday night, we partied like rock stars on Saturday. We started the night at Eastern Standard, a great restaurant in Kenmore Square. We rented out the front patio and celebrated our friend, Cara, who is getting married next month. We drank martinis and champagne, ate unpronounceable food, and felt wicked fancy. Then, Brad, Tanyika, and I hopped in a cab over to Joshua Tree, a bar/club in our old neighborhood. Our friend, Meredith, is leaving Boston to head to Michigan State University to complete her PhD so we celebrated Meredith for the 2nd half of the night. By 2am, Brad and I were covered in sweat on the dance floor, having the time of our lives.
We paid for it on Sunday. Neither of us drank too much on Saturday, thankfully, but we did stay out WAY later than we're used to staying out, so we struggled to get rolling before noon on Sunday. We vegged out on Sunday night over at Bruce and Christy's pad - watching the Olympic trials with friends.
